Pedestrian Pathway : Keep Right !

Perhaps, you know this. While walking you need to keep right (yes, right not the left) to see the traffic coming. Many of us always keep left while walking also because we were taught so since early age. But, it is wrong actually. Keep left is for the motorist only. For the pedestrian, we need to keep right so that you see the traffic and avoid accidents.

You must have realized by this time how uncomfortable it is to walk in left in a busy road. There is always a scare of hitting from back. The kind of sound is annoying when you don't know what is happening behind you.

Inspite of being uncomfortable, we still keep left because we are ignorant as well as mis-guided. No wonder in many of hit-and-run cases you will always find that the victim is always hit from behind.

Keep right while walking to avoid being hit from behind.

PS : Few days back I had an argument with my wife on this. I said "Right" and she said "Left".
